Born on 5^th March 1953 in a town named Sachore, Rajasthan, his success lay in the reality of his life from the very beginning: Struggle. After completing his 8^th grade, he had to quit school and move to Mumbai so that he could support himself and his family. He worked various jobs for many years and the only tools he had were his goals and sheer will to reach those goals.

By 1974, Mr. Mehta started working independently in pipe manufacturing from where he gained a lot of experience in the industry. After gaining substantial experience, on 10^th April 1976, he started a firm “Metal Tubes (India)” for which he partnered with Mr Kaliya and they continued that partnership for the next 18 years.

In the following years,  they added a branch in Chandigarh where his two sons joined him; Mukesh in 1992 followed by Satish in 1996. By 1999, the time was ripe for their venture with Metallica Tubes India and in the coming years, his other sons also joined him. Ashok joined their company in 2000 followed by Naresh in 2004 and Nirmal in 2006. 

They augmented their business to its maximum and reached new heights with the establishment of a new division of instrumentation Fittings named “Wao Loc Instrumentations”. They also opened a Manufacturing Unit of Forxar Industries for flanges in Vasai in 2015. More success followed in 2017 as they deepened their roots into different segments and took over Volvola Corporation, a valve manufacturing unit, transforming Forxar Industries  into “Forxar Industries Pvt Ltd ''.

Progress since then was steady and firm. They continued to develop quality products for multiple B2B segments across diverse industries. In 2019 MRM Group gained 50% partnership with Flovel Valves Pvt Ltd and In two years’ time, by 2021,  MRM Group acquired 100% stake in Flovel Valves Pvt Ltd. A feat no less indeed. 

Reflecting back on the past, Mr. Mafatlal Mehta asked himself: to what does he owe this success to? The answer lay in one word: Family. But their definition of family doesn’t end with just him and his immediate family. Mr. Mafatlal Mehta  considers all his siblings and their families as his own. But more importantly, MRM Group and all its people are also his own family. 

Honest, Humility and Helpfulness: these are the three values Mr. Mafatlal Mehta has always endeavoured to live up to. It is with these that he could credit his success. The platform that he stands on today has many pillars that have supported him through all the good and bad without whom, he wouldn’t be sitting here. Mr. Mafatlal Mehta has always been grateful to his old friends and his employees who were and will always be in his prayers. 

In the coming years, many more challenges lie ahead for them. With determination, duty and expertise, they are determined to forge a new path for their potential growth in the coming years. The active efforts of Government policy making along with their entrepreneurial experience and technical expertise, MRM Group is sure to create newer opportunities for growth, not only for themselves, but also for the society at large and the nation as a whole.
